2. Applying to travel and eco-tourism bookings (distance contracts)

If you book travel or eco-tourism services through the website, the booking is concluded at a distance. Before you become bound by your order, the required pre-contract information for distance contracts is provided on the booking/checkout pages.

For distance contract requirements, we comply with Noteikumi par distances līgumu (Regulations regarding distance contracts).

For consumer-facing contractual and pre-contract information and for out-of-court dispute resolution paths, we comply with Patērētāju tiesību aizsardzības likums (Consumer Rights Protection Law).

3. Using the website and provided materials

• You agree to use the website lawfully and only for personal, non-commercial purposes unless otherwise permitted.
• Content provided on the website (descriptions, images, schedules, and related information) is intended for information purposes and may be updated without notice.
• You are responsible for providing accurate booking details. If information you provide is incorrect, we may need to adjust arrangements where possible.

4. Booking and itinerary interactions

After you place an order, you may receive booking confirmations and itinerary information via the contact details provided. Any special requirements (e.g., dietary restrictions or mobility needs) should be communicated as early as possible. Availability of special requests may be limited by the service provider and timing.

Travel arrangements may be subject to provider terms, schedules, and operational constraints. Where changes are unavoidable, we will communicate relevant updates when reasonably possible.

5. Right of withdrawal / cancellation (distance purchases)

For distance contracts, your right of withdrawal/cancellation (including any limitations and the applicable timeline) is presented to you before the purchase is completed on the booking/checkout pages. If applicable, a withdrawal form is made available as required for distance contracts under Noteikumi par distances līgumu (Regulations regarding distance contracts).

6. Data protection and transparency

If you submit booking details, contact inquiries, or other information, we process personal data in accordance with applicable Latvian data protection requirements. The required transparency and information notices are provided through our privacy notices.

Where relevant, we comply with Fizisko personu datu apstrādes likums (Personal Data Processing Law).

7. Out-of-court dispute resolution

If a dispute arises, you may seek out-of-court dispute resolution according to the Latvian consumer framework. We provide information about out-of-court dispute resolution options consistent with Patērētāju ārpustiesas strīdu risinātāju likums (Law On Out-Of-Court Consumer Dispute Resolution Bodies).

8. Contact / lead form

If you use our contact/lead form, submission will redirect you to a thank-you page. The form uses a submit button without optional validation or a custom success flow.

9. Liability limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by law, usweigh is not liable for indirect or consequential damages resulting from the use of the website or participation in tours, except where such limitation is prohibited by applicable mandatory consumer protection law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for matters that cannot be excluded or limited under Latvian law, including as required to protect consumers.
